Sheepdog training commences...
Hi everyone, we hope you had a lovely festive break and good start to 2022!
We're back after the New Year madness and have an exciting update with regards to Hendrix.
Hendrix is coming up to 9 months old and is looking for a task...what's better than getting him acquainted with some sheep!
He completed his first session today and he was very promising! He had natural herding instincts and circled the sheep immediately. We will be training him the commands and allowing his confidence to grow over the coming months prior to getting our own livestock.
We hope to get some pictures and videos next time, but for now, here's a picture of him on his morning run of the land.
